Summary

I was employed by Macdon Inds from Sept,1979 to March,1985 as an machine operator, cnc operator and lastly an experimental mechanic in the Eng dept. Left the company and returned in Jan, 1986 and retired June 2021. In that time I was an operator, charge-hand, supervisor and foreman. As Foreman I was assigned to 3 posts, machine shop, building maintenance, and then machine shop and fabrication. In maintenance dept I oversaw the janitorial staff, general maintenance staff, rolling fleet(forklifts and vehicles), journeymen electricians and mechanics as well as hiring contractors for building maintenance, office cleaners, storage lot asphalt repairs, parking lot sweepers. I also have experience with general maintenance and cleaning tasks – this includes painting, patching, basic electrical and plumbing knowledge. I have also had rental properties and rented as well. I feel I would be a great candidate for this position as I have the necessary skills, can communicate with staff, tenants and contractors.
