I have worked in numerous industries under the guidance of Tvusd's Adult Transition Program. Through this program, I have learned the importance of independence, greater responsibility, and teamwork. The greatest skill I learned was how to take initiative. Other than ATP, I have been taking classes at MSJC to further my education and to keep my mind sharp. Video Production has always been my passion in life, and these classes have furthered my ability to follow my dream.
I was with a team of associates assembling the packaging for Abbott Laboratories. Completing tasks with efficiency and focus, allowing no room for error. Whenever a new teammate was appointed to the same position as me, I would guide them through the process of assembly and integrated into the team.
While I was busser at Phil's BBQ, cleanliness and attention to detail were my top priorities. In addition to sanitizing the tables and the bar, I would finish the tables off with fresh silverware and condiments for the customers. Making sure that presentation was of manager quality.
After shirts were pressed with their specific design, I would neatly fold and organize them based on their design. Keeping inventory accurate and up to date. Similar to Abbott, I would assemble the packaging and I managed shipment accuracy.
