They reduce the likelihood of severe accidents by lowering vehicle speeds and eliminating head-on and right-angle collisions. Roundabouts are increasingly popular in Canada as they improve traffic efficiency, reduce congestion, and are more environmentally friendly by cutting down on idling time.

• Performance study on Reinforced concrete composites added with steel and glass fibres : Laboratory experiments involved designing M20 grade concrete specimens with 0.5%, 1%, and 2% steel and glass fibers. The results showed that FRC outperformed plain M20 concrete in terms of compression and splitting strength over 7, 14, and 28 days. Glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) is noted for its high tensile strength and suitability for applications requiring durability, weather resistance, fire retardancy, and impermeability.
