  • Spear-headed UOW's largest surgical event in recent years, the Women in Surgery Gala. Aimed to inspire and enable medical students and junior doctors to pursue their surgical ambitions. Brought together 3 renown surgeons and more than 70 attendees for a night of inspiring talks.

ANATOMY DISSECTIONS

UOW Cadaver Anatomy Lab, Wollongong, NSW (2022 - 2023)

  • Volunteer in the anatomy lab on a weekly basis to dissect cadaver specimens. Reinforce my understanding of anatomy and gain practical dissecting skills.

ATHLETIC ACHEIVEMENTS

Competitive long-distance runner (2019 - PRESENT)

  • Competitive marathon (42.2km) runner with a personal best time of 3h and 34min.
  • 2nd place female at the Orange Running Festival Marathon 2023.
  • 1st place female in the Shoalhaven Summit Ultra Trail (47km, 1.2km elevation gain)
  • 10th place female in the Noosa Heads Ultra Trail (50km, 900m elevation gain)

Ride for Brain Research in Honour of Deceased Father (2020)

  • My sister and I cycled 320km over the course of 4 days and raised $61,000 for brain research. We did it in honour of our father who passed away after a 10-year battle with a rare brain disease.
