When I first started I was mostly a “Top out” guy who runs pex and copper water lines and glueing vents In residential housing or commercial, and also installing fire sprinklers and setting tub showers or showers. After coming back to work for Quality Plumbing I was plug on a 2 man crew doing only “finish” plumbing which includes installing sinks, toilets, shower/bath, etc.

I was in charger of going to the shop every morning to load the daily materials, and tools onto my crews work truck and drive it to the job site or track then we would finish whatever assignment was given to us for the day. I left quality plumbing the first time for higher pay, but I decided to come back because they were like family and luckily the owners welcome me back with open arms.

I Worked at Sierra fire protection for a shorter amount of time because the small company had gotten slow and me being the newest hire, I had to be let go. Although I learned much and more from them, I learned how to install fire sprinklers and read plans better.

My job at Quality plumbing was to load materials at the shop, drive the truck to the job and complete the job appointed to me or me and my crew. During the first couple years working for Quality Plumbing I was on a crew that mostly worked in commercial buildings, installing long gas lines and sprinkler lines, or connecting existing lines to new bathrooms. Then after a while I switched crews and worked on apartment buildings and residential housing, running pex and ABS through the new houses.

During my time working at Fisk I was a laborer who would rope the materials up on top of the roof that we were working on, and I was faked with spraying foam insulation, and adding coats of paint to the outer layer of foam after the foam dries up, or we would respray old foam that is cracked and weathered. I was also one to use the pressure washer to clean off the roofs for paint prep and using leaf blowers to dry off or remove ice from the roofs so we can paint.

Fresno plumbing was the first plumbing company I’ve worked for and where I’ve learned much about new construction plumbing in commercial buildings such as doctors offices and restaurants. I was part of a small 3 man crew and my foreman Carlos Diaz taught me how to do most basic plumbing knowledge such as soldering copper pipe, or learning to use a pipe threader. I quit Fresno plumbing to work at quality plumbing because covid had started and work was getting slow.
