Chad Sieben

Conducted soil salvage, vegetation management, and water sampling in the Athabasca Oil Sands Region. My work included soil salvage, seeding, tree planting, spraying, and water sampling. This work was extrememly rewarding, however, the distance from family and friends was hard on me.

I held the position of Seasonal Laborer at Camrose County during the summers while I was completing my undergraduate degree. This work included sign installations, culvert installations, road building, tarring, mowing/whipping, heavy equipment operation, tree cutting, and many other tasks. I enjoyed my time at Camrose County but left to pursue a career in my field of Environmental Science.

I briefly worked at Walmart after high school before I began my university studies. I assisted customers by checking prices, finding products, and greeting them with care. I received and unloaded products upon delivery and ensured that they remained fresh for customers. I ensured proper pricing was displayed on products and kept the produce section clean, tidy and fresh.

I held the position of Sales Associate at M&M Meat Shops for a few months while I was in high school. This was my first job and I enjoyed greeting customers with care, answering questions about our products, and ensuring customers received what they came for. I engaged with new, returning, and loyal customers and accurately processed POS transactions.
