- Providing care within the capacity of a Scrub Nurse and Circulating Nurse role throughout Various Electrophysiology procedures (EP studies, AF/AFL Ablations, VT Ablations, LAAOs, PPM/ICD/CRT implants/extractions, Laser Lead Extractions, ie.)

- Providing pre, intra, and post operative support/education to patients undergoing procedures, while maintaining appropriate procedural time management.

- Assessing/Interrogating and trouble shooting PPM devices in a clinical setting. Adhering to our clinic standards to provide safe and efficient care in collaboration with other device trained nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, and Product Reps.

- Assisting Anesthesia with airway management withing the Lab/Procedural room setting. Using Critical Care knowledge to provide competent and effective care to both stable and critically ill patients

• Supported Virtual Nursing Team with information and "Just-in Time" training for a variety of skills and processes throughout the hospital departments (Surgical, Cardiac, Post partum, Child mental health, Adult mental health, Medicine, and Emergency care)
• Aquired a vast breadth and Depth of working knowledge of policies and procedure fro each respective department.
• Planned and assisted in the successful implementation of specialty training for staff to offer specialized support (PPU, CAM).
• Developed Orientation and new hire schedules for a successful transition into the VNT role at Southlake.
• Utilized competency tools to evaluate educational needs of trainees and researching trends in clinical instruction.
• Conducted needs assessments to identify and fill staff knowledge gaps.

• Support Nurses and allied staff at two rehabilitation sites in developing and informing knowledge of new policies, procedures, and bet practice guidelines.
• Provide support and guidance for resolving both acute developing and chronic concerns in nursing support, patient and staff safety, and corporate initiatives, while maintaining the organizations goals and principles.
• (VAT, DETECT, CVAD, MSD training, Education minutes, huddles) - Organized and presented staff orientation for corporate and unit specific new hired nurses.
• Leading and implementing a new model of care at both RCU sites - Collaborates with the director of medicine, unit Manager, and other fellow educators when strategizing and brainstorming new ways to engage staff and promote positive change.
• Organize and supported students and new hires through orientation and development in the hospital.

• Worked directly with the Cath Lab Team and other Cardiac and/or Cardiovascular surgery services.
• Managed a wide variety of acute and critical care pts including (STEMI, NSTEMI, Temporary and Freshly inserted permanent Pace Maker clients, Vented pts, dialysis, Target Temperature Management, Post PCI, and ICU pts).
• Assessed and maintained a wide variety of invasive medical interventional instruments (Balloon pumps, PA catheters, target temperature devices, arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, pluravacs, critical care infusions, etc.)
