First project was at the Whittier sewer treatment plant where I had the opportunity to direct the crews in the installation of sodium bisulfate and hypochlorite tanks, lines, pumps and valves. Erect steel beams and roof for the steel canopy to cover the tanks. Run all the heat tracing cables, demo old structures and install all underground utilities. Second project was the installation of 48" and 36" sewer trunk line for the city of San Bernardino. 2 miles of mainline at .27% fall in class c soil. Job also included 4 sewer bypasses, 2 bores to go under an existing channel and busy intersection. Worked with city traffic control department to get full closures on some of the streets. Third project was the Sylmar Ultra Violet Disinfection Plant for LADWP. Installed various sizes water lines from 2" to 124 CML&C pipe. Assisted in the start up process and completed punch list items.

At this job we had a lot of complications dealing with groundwater, existing gas, petroleum and other utilities that were not on the plans. Digging 20 feet deep using shields and trench plates in between a 20" gas and a homeland security duct bank to avoid cave-ins.
