  • Developed Girl North Studios in 2021 as a production studio for future film/television projects, but the studio is currently profitless.
  • Currently focused on strengthening connections with production partners to build capital and option rights to literary adaptations.
  • Added independent nonprofit organization The Girl North Project to the studio mission with the intent on supporting causes that champion women and girls in 2023. Since its launch, The Girl North Project has supported Malalafund, The Center for Human Rights in Iran, the Palestinian Childrens' Relief Fund and Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

  • Joined team in 2024 for 7th annual festival season (taking place from January to February), after being a 2020 festival alumni.
  • Spearheaded strategic planning initiatives, driving organizational growth and enhancing relationships between attending filmmakers and local industry fellows.
  • Planned and conducted VIP events: welcome gala, filmmaker brunches, networking lunches and closing night entertainment. Launched the inaugural Pendance Portrait Studio to connect filmmakers with PR opportunities.
  • Established and maintained meaningful connections with filmmakers from all over the globe, connecting them with resources within the Canadian film industry.

  • Lived in Guanacaste, Costa Rica on-site of Reunion, non-profit plant medicine center, specializing in Psilocybin and Ayahuasca retreats led by Peruvian Indigenous Wisdom Keepers.
  • Worked directly with CEO, PR and marketing team located in Toronto to establish storylines for documentary-style content for 2 new programs implemented in 2023: Awakening Leadership (for business leaders and CEO's) and LGBTQ+ Programs.
  • Managed technical equipment and troubleshooting issues on site, navigating real-time changes and conflicts that come with shooting in a 'reality-type' environment.
  • Navigated sensitive spaces and fostered care and communication with guests while they underwent incredibly powerful experiences.
  • Was able to formulate story-centred content while developing relationships on the ground in Costa Rica, both benefiting the retreat center mission and guest experience.

  • Developed innate communication skills allowing me to interact with ESL students and helping them to develop English-speaking skills.
