I have been working for the Morden Veterinary Clinics for 2.5 years. In this time I have been fortunate enough to work at 3 of their locations, under many different fantastic veterinarians. Filling in at these locations has allowed me to improve my workplace skills in so many ways. I am very comfortable working under different veterinarians, and with a wide variety of staff. We struggle with staffing shortages, so I have learned to complete many tasks solo and in a very efficient manner. These tasks include but are not limited to, solo endotracheal intubation, catheter placement, blood draws, radiographs, wound treatments, bandage changes, lab sample collections, rectal temperature, administer IV, IM and SQ injections. I also work very well with my teams. When I am not assisting my veterinarians, I work very closely with the veterinary assistants and receptionists helping them wherever they may need. I am comfortable in all parts of the clinic from upfront reception, exam room assistance, and in the back doing treatments and surgery. I feel as though I would be a great addition to your team.
