Mobility Opportunity Via Education Trainer

Kern County Superintendent of Schools is the birthplace of the Mobility Opportunity Via Education (MOVE) Program. I have been both trained in the MOVE curriculum and have provided training to educators throughout the county. This curriculum is designed to support students with orthopedic impairments by promoting functional movement throughout the day. Using specialized equipment, students are able to sit, stand, toilet, and move alongside their peers in meaningful, inclusive ways.
