Summary

My unique perspective is strengthened by a blend of traditional and contemporary Indigenous Worldviews with a focus on shared leadership. This motivates me to actively promote my skills, insights, and understanding to empower others. Throughout my career, I have advanced Indigenous pedagogy in various fields, including public education as a teacher, social services as a life skills facilitator, and the fine arts as a self-directed contemporary visual artist in residence. Building on a successful year of Indigenous Social Work courses, I am excited to apply to the 2025-2027 Masters of Education online program at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia, my traditional territory, which supports my on-going growth and commitment to Indigenous Education.
