Foot Care Clinic- Student Placement

• Assisted with assessments on patients feet and provided them with knowledge about foot health and answered any questions
• Interacted with the homeless population within the Niagara region to gain understanding and sensitivity

Blood Pressure Clinic - Student Placement

Niagara Health System

• Obtained the blood pressure of Niagara's elder population
• Informed patients about results and answered any questions they may have had

Cootes Paradise Elementary School

• Worked with children who had developmental disabilities and would take them to exercise classes to gain more mobility

Center for Paramedic Education and Research (CPER) 

• Was a volunteer for Base Hospital certifications as both a partner and a patient in emergency scenarios

Skate the Dream 

• Worked with children and taught them how to skate as well as basic hockey rules

Niagara Marathon 

• Assisted the volunteer crew with handing out water, medals, and blankets after they finished the race
• Stayed with participants after the race if they required medical care, and took them to the appropriate medical tent to receive care
