I worked at my job before Costco for 10 years. I started as a stocker, then I moved up many levels such as supervisor, key carrier supervisor, assistant manager, I traveled to build clothing’s store across Saskatchewan and Alberta, I then managed my own store till I made the switch with Costco in 2015. I started as a packer, I then moved to cashier and cross trained in photo, membership, onsite marketing, tobacco as well as carts and gas station. I then transferred to 1234 when we opened our second location.I shortly after took a temp supervisor position, and within 2 years was a permanent front end supervisor. I was in my supervisor career for 6 years and have now been in my Temp Front End Assistant Manager position for 2 years. My hard work ethic and leadership for our employees and members is something I strive for everyday.I also worked a second job for awhile as a server in the bar , working wing nights and busy holidays. This April will be 10 years for me with Costco and I have always strived for the best and am thankful to be in my Manager roll currently.
