• Measure ditch for hoe operators, making sure that ditch is being dug to spec.
• Changing buckets out, and switching out teeth on buckets.
• Re establish ditchline when knocked out, and write all cuts on pipe.
• Traffic control / Throwing tires when mobbing equipment to new locations.
• Check machines and components for malfunctions and maintenance needs. Daily greasing to be preformed on all machines.

• Operate sheep's foot packer, and smooth drum packer while road building.
• Work on steep slopes setting up access, putting fencing and all signage up.
• Hot line crossings, building air bridges with access matts.
• Hotshot parts out to ROW for crews.
• Parts running with 1 ton & gooseneck trailer in all weather conditions, to pick up/drop off various materials.
• Load Securement, safely load and unload, strapping and securing loads.
• Preform pre trip and post trip inspections which include but not limited to complete walk around, checking fluids, tires, lights, straps on loads.

• Set up rig, start welder, connect cables and ensure all needed materials are readily available for the welder.
• Following welders instructions to adjust welding machine temperatures.
• Buffing and grinding welds.
• Maintain housekeeping after every weld.
• Drive truck equipped with warning lights and signs to escort permitted over-dimensional trucks hauling equipment on public highways.
• Assist the driver of load by communicating obstructions, pedestrians, and other potential hazards on roadways.
• Ensure that the route given on the permit is being followed.
• Assist truck driver with load securement.

• Ensure safety reports and data are collected and submitted to management, and other site contractors as required, including:

- Site orientations

- Incident reports

- Hazard assessments and Inspections

- Perform gas monitoring and ensuring adequate ventilation

- Toolbox meetings

- Safety meetings

- Review and sign off on all site permits

• Perform on-site safety watch, confined space entry watch and spark/fire watch.
• Intervene in unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and take appropriate action to influence safe behaviors. Develop, implement and follow up on corrective actions.
