This particular project entailed primarily performing Confined Space and Entry roles for Boilermakers, Pipefitters and Scaffolders.

During the winter season, as a General Labourer my primary focus was snow removal.

When required I would also be responsible for such tasks as cleaning spills, performing Confined Space & Entry roles and various other tasks.

• Collaborated with team members to complete projects on schedule.
• Supported skilled workers by preparing tools and materials for tasks.
• Performed physical activities requiring heavy lifting, walking and standing for long periods of time.
• Followed safety protocols while performing manual labour tasks consistently.

• As a Labourer for the City of Edmonton (Integrated Pest Management) I perform various work tasks from vegetation clearing and removal to spraying herbicide to keep invasive plants under control.
• Organized tools, supplies, and equipment needed for specific jobs according to instructions provided by supervisor.
• Performed regular checks of equipment for proper operation and safety compliance.
• Ensured that all personal protective gear was worn at all times while on the job site.
• Worked with team members to ensure efficient workflow throughout the day.
• Cleaned work area after job completion ensuring all debris is properly disposed of.

The role as a General Labourer was extensive and included everything from snow removal to confined space monitor.

Regularly was involved in clearing snow, cutting grass and other vegetation, transporting tools and equipment, confined space monitor, fire watch monitor, flagging, maintenance and repair as well as operating equipment like plow trucks and sand trucks.
