During my time at Bibiana, I learned how to both cashier and cook. I have been a prep cook and service cook. I know how to multi-task and work fast as I would have to get a lot done in short amount of time. I have both cashiered and cooked in the same night, having to run in back and prep something while then running to the front to help a customer. I have also cashiered and cooked by myself during some of my opening shifts, and when I had my cashier, I would be the only cook in the kitchen while doing service and prepping for our dinner shift. That being said, I know how to manage my time and work until there is nothing left to do (which isn't common in the kitchen). I like to stay at my jobs for a long period of time as I understand how frustrating it can be to train someone and then have them quit shortly after. I have also trained both a cashier and cook before. Because of all my kitchen experience ( actually being in the kitchen) I know a lot of small details that others would not such as sanitization hazards. On top of my restaurant experience, I have plenty of customer service experience as I have worked at the farmers market for many years now. I know how to talk to customers and address their concerns, while also keeping my cool when having a not so pleasant customer. I have good attention to detail as we set up our stand everyday and do our best to make it visually appealing, also have attention to detail from cooking. I have many skills that could be well used in a restaurant position as that is what I'm looking for. Overall, I'm responsible, hard working, a multi tasker, communicative, and work well under pressure. I'll do things your way, and I could be a great addition to your staff!
