  • Enhanced research quality skills by implementing advanced experimental techniques, e.g. in vitro nutrient degradation, and data analysis methodologies.
  • Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, including industry (e.g. Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada), to develop in vitro digestion and fermentation methodology to determine digestion and fermentation kinetics in various (approx. 24) equine feed ingredients.
  • Enhanced oral and written skills through conference attendance and presenting, development of standardized operating documents, publications (original and review), and bi-weekly meetings with research stakeholder.
