Started working for Valley Industrial X-Ray Inspections as an assistant
Performed Ultrasonic Thickness and external visual inspection in accordance to API 510/570 for Occidental Elk Hills
Became a UT thickness technician working on the Occidental Elk Hills Lease, perform routine API 510, 570 code inspection on piping systems and pressure vessel’s
Became an API 570 inspector and then moved from the Occidental Elk Hills field to the MI department to work under the direct supervision of DT Holder
Duties included reviewing UT data, isometric drawings, external visuals and writing CDR’s (corrosion damage reports) on all of the piping circuits inspected in accordance with API 570
After DT Holders resignation I began to work under the supervision Benny Rocha and continued with my duties until he moved to a different department
Then my duties continued under the direction of Fabrizio Paletta
During my time at Occidental Elk Hills I had the opportunity to work closely with the Corrosion Engineering department along with working daily in Credo for 5 years
The reason for leaving the Occidental Elk Hills Lease was preparation for relocating to Lubbock, TX
Work with DT Holder at our Bakersfield, CA Norris Road office performing data entry/document scanning for Tennessee Valley Authority, while in transition to relocate out to our new Lubbock, TX office
Working at our Lubbock, TX office with all duties include new hire processing, reviewing applications for API jobs, billing and working with our HR department
Working with Occidental as a field inspector with various contractors then as a Oxy employee 10/2020 to 3/2022
Working at the Indian Basin Gas Plant as an inspector walking out piping systems with P and IDs
Once the IBGP closed down I began doing field inspections
Inspecting tanks, vessels, heater treaters, Fire tubes writing reports on findings and recommending repairs as well as internal coating condition
