* Provide a clean, sanitary, and safe environment while respecting the space and privacy of clients, patients, residents, staff, and visitors.

• Key accomplishments: Participating in daily team huddles and SMART safety exercises such as: diagonal lifting, understanding emergency colour codes, proper hand washing, cleaning product information...

Follow daily duty sheet instructions of assigned area to complete accurate and timely cleaning procedures throughout the facility. Using appropriate PPE where and when required. Working independently and as a team member.

• Education and on the job training with safe handling: of cleaners, linens and garbage and linen/garbage bins/carts, burnishers, electric floor cleaner machine, wet/dry mops, use of garbage/cardboard compactors.

• Conscientious of infection prevention control in my role by practicing good hygiene including: proper hand washing/hand gel sanitizer, use/discarding of PPE mask, respirator, gowns, gloves, cleaning tools/supplies, on going training for further enhancement in the role.

Trained to perform: Waste Laundry Porter Duties and Uniform Laundry Room Duties.

• In addition, April 25, 2022 - current: worked independently cleaning wheelchairs on a part time basis.

Responsible to create & give a list to the charge nurse of wheelchairs to be cleaned in a designated unit of the facility, collect chairs and take to the tub room in the unit, clean and disinfect properly & uniformly. Once completed return chairs to residents room and record in a log book the room number, type of chair and date.

• Train and mentor hair cosmetology students on procedures to accurately provide haircuts, colour, perm and hairstyling services. Demonstrate exemplary customer service and public relations on behalf of the Academy to promote student education and career success in the hair cosmetology trade.
• Key accomplishments: Assign and oversee student research assignments to ensure clarity of understanding and procedures. Notify classes of deadline requirements; grade student assignments and enter grades in the school master grading program.
• Responsible for overseeing the TSA level system (2018 & 2019) designed for students to track client services and retail sales. Duties included monthly tracking reviews, leading student mentoring meetings, client goal setting and incentive prizes for student achievements.
• Initiated classroom morale boosting activities, including arrangement of 2 alumni guest speakers and creative product awareness sessions.
• Adhere to company health and safety measures, ensuring a clean working environment for clients, students and co-worker safety.
• Provide reception support and point of sale procedures as needed to ensure a high quality of guest/client service is maintained.
• In addition to the above responsibilities, provided client hairstyling services (2017-2021) 8 hours per week at the school location. Invited students to assist, while demonstrating exemplary customer service that resulted in referrals and repeat clients.
• Assisted classroom theory educators and served as substitute educator. Being flexible when faced with work schedule changes, including weekly schedule changes when the school reopened after the pandemic closure.

• Delivered a high volume of flower arrangements to residences and business offices within the City of Regina and surrounding area. Followed delivery instructions and achieved delivery time requests by arranging best route options using a GPS navigator.
• Key accomplishments: Organized timely driving routes for pickups at 2 store locations, on morning and afternoon shifts.
• Problem-solved and adjusted routes to accommodate last minute customer requests for prompt pickup and delivery.
• Provided follow through on customers who were unavailable to receive deliveries, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining utmost care and safety while driving, ensuring a secure load to allow focus while driving. Ensured a well-maintained vehicle for safety and a positive client impression.

• Established and operated a welcoming residential hair salon, inviting family, friends, neighbours and referrals for a relaxing and exceptional customer experience.
• Key accomplishments: Planned, organized and operated a successful home based salon. Followed and renovated space to meet City of Regina regulations, and provided a clean and safe environment. Maintained daily record keeping, inventory and sales, booked appointments, created advertising and referral incentives.
