Cameron Lucas

As a third-year mechanical engineering student at UCLA, I have ambitions of deciding my career path and learning from hands on job experience. I have basic experience in multiple AutoCAD programs and plan to build on this knowledge. I know how to work in a group setting, and I take on a leadership role when it's necessary. My experience in school has given me the resources to apply my knowledge to real-life engineering projects.

• Dean's List UCLA, Awarded to students with a minimum GPA of 3.75.
• AP Scholar With Distinction, Given to students who average above a 3.5 out of 5 on Advanced Placement testing.
• Spanish Seal of Biliteracy, Awarded by San Diego Unified School District.

• Underwater Robot Group Project, 01/01/24, 10-week project-based engineering elective class at UCLA. Planned, designed, and built an underwater robot in a small group. Gained experience in Solidworks and 3D printing. Learned important skills in facilitating the design process.
• X1 Robotics, (01/01/25 - 06/03/25) . Robotics club at UCLA. Year-long project to design and build a fully autonomous bruin bear robot. Work in the 'Body' sub-committee and help design the chassis and shell of the body of the robot.
