- In charge of instructing anywhere from one to eight children at a time, ranging from the ages of 3-12, how to skate.
- It is not just teaching, but ensuring the kids are having a good time by playing on ice games with them, like red light green light.
- Teaching anywhere from basic skating skills, to more advanced stuff, to hockey skills and edge work, to just being able to stand up on the ice.
- Need to be very adaptable as I never know which section of teaching I will be needed for, on any given day; it could be pre-school, learn to skate, or hockey.
- Always need to have the required equipment and be prepared for whatever group I am assigned.
