My name is Cam Carruthers and I am passionate, grateful competitor who takes his role in player and personal development very seriously. I have a heart and a passion for athletes and specifically the game of hockey that has enabled me to experience amazing friendships and hardships along the way. I have a lot left to give this game and the athletes in it. I believe hockey is such a great tool to form young athletes into productive, respectful and competitive members of our communities. I enjoy my role in that responsibility to forming the future that will thrive and nourish common goals that produce successful lives for generations. I love everything about the sport and every progression to skill set in it. I could talk biomechanics for hours and I greatly value the tool of video, analysis and relationships to earn the respect and buy in of athletes/staff. My strength (and weakness) is my passion but all can be assured my heart is in the right place and that is human athlete development. I have been fortunate to experience the game for a broad spectrum of perspectives that have strengthened and humbled me along the way. This breadth of experience allows me to have a unique perspective to age and talent appropriate programming. I greatly enjoy contributing to greater good big picture and more than willing to support other teams and programs throughout the organization whenever possible.
