Piling Frontend / Equipment Operator/Labourer

  • Worked alongside drills setting casing, rigging and installing cages, and pouring concrete.
  • Worked with pile driving equipment and cranes installing piles.
  • Installed different piles including vertical piles, battered piles, below grade piles and tension piles.
  • Made sure the rig had all tooling, casing and hand tools available to promote momentum for smooth operation.
  • Interpreted Pile drawings to figure out the sequence of piles.
  • Worked with surveyors and completed paperwork for each pile which included depth of hole, length of cage, concrete start and end time, how much casing needed and obstruction time.
  • Operated AWP manlift to inspect the rig and grease appropriate spots and attach kelly guide ( swivel, sheaves, etc.)
  • Operated skidsteer and loader to remove spoil and bring over tooling.
  • Completed JARR cards each morning related to the task at hand that day.
  • Promoted worksite safety and enforced adherence to PPE requirements and OSHA protocols.
  • Maintained equipment in good working order by checking fluid levels and greasing and fueling machines.
