- Oversaw and managed all stages of both substation and civil reclamation projects from inception, estimation, design, construction, commissioning and closeout

- Attended monthly project status and budget review meetings to ensure project costs were on track and project margins were maintained
- Initiated discussions with clients concerning scope, design, or field modifications, and drafted change orders to accurately reflect the increased time and costs required to accommodate client requirements
- Maintained client relations by establishing regularly scheduled meetings to review project progress, provide updates, and address potential issues
- Managed and coordinated the engineering team to ensure timely completion of designs and establish clear deliverable deadlines
- Facilitated coordination among multiple teams including electrical, process and controls, and SCADA groups for construction activities
- This involved establishing construction milestones and ensuring timely completion of all construction phases
- Collaborated with the procurement team in acquiring required project materials
- Monitored material status to identify and address availability and delivery challenges
- Led Go-No-Go meetings prior to construction to ensure design is completed and reviewed, required material has been received, identify additional site requirements (such as specialized equipment, washroom and office facilities), confirm all Quality Control and Safety documentation and processes have been completed
- Participated in site visits to monitor project progress, identify restrictions, and address potential issues
- Engaged with multiple teams such as procurement, engineering, construction, and accounting to close out projects
- Close out expectations included vendor PO close out, material return to stores, design package as-builts completed and provided to client and holdback and final invoices issued
- Utilized project milestone spreadsheets, Gantt charts, and Microsoft Projects to track and organize progress
- Noteworthy Projects: Shell Scotford Solar Integration, Multiple CT replacement projects, Copper Theft Program, Balzac DDR Replacement, Substation Civil upgrade (multiple sites)
