Responsible for overseeing substation and civil reclamation projects, including preparing project estimates based on client-supplied scope, establishing and managing project deadlines, reviewing and approving monthly accruals and forecasting, and reviewing and approving project invoices and purchase orders. Actively participate in monthly project status and budget review meetings, prepare and submit project Change Orders, and maintain client relations. Coordinate construction activities between electrical, process and controls, and SCADA groups, as well as coordinate the purchasing of project-required material with the procurement group. Host project Go-No Go meetings prior to construction, update project tracking spreadsheets, and attend site visits to discuss project requirements, identify restrictions, and address potential issues effectively.

As the lead for project electrical design and drafting, I am responsible for managing and updating monthly project progress reports. I conduct design and technical drawing activities in alignment with client requirements, utilizing information from diverse sources such as site studies, vendor drawings, catalog data, engineering sketches, reference drawings, and input from various disciplines. I effectively coordinate work with other teams to ensure seamless project execution. Providing technical guidance to fellow designers in the department, I offer accurate and timely troubleshooting support. Supervising a group of drafters, I ensure project completion meets deadlines and quality standards. Additionally, I review and provide valuable input on information received from vendors and meticulously assess electrical drawings to guarantee consistency and adherence to standards.
