Scope of practice is very similar to my duties held at the TOH however to model of coverage is slightly different where coverage of the ICU is performed a regular basis as part of our rotation. We also cover the SCN and Labour and deliver to assist with difficult extraction and assisted delivery devices as Peds are not always in house.

• Managed and operated mechanical ventilators to deliver airway management.
• Managed ventilator support for critically ill patients in intensive care units, ensuring proper adjustments according to physician orders and clinical guidelines.
• Optimized airway management by skillfully performing endotracheal intubations under challenging circumstances.
• Completed continued education units annually to stay current with respiratory therapy advancements and maintain compliance with administrative regulations.

• Managed and operated mechanical ventilators to deliver airway management.
• Administered oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy and inhalation therapy to improve patients' breathing and lung function.
• Provided emergency response assistance in cases of respiratory distress or failure as part of a rapid response team.
• Regular coverage of the Level 2 SCN where acute and chronic care is performed including Resuscitation measures following NRP guidelines, Intubation. PPV and manual CPAP along with acute and chronic invasive and non invasive mechanical ventilation.
