Eglinton Crosstown Line LRT

Supervise a union crew of 100 workers at one time on building of the 25km of new track,track switches and all components associated with new installation.

Overseeing crews replace Double slip switches and install new, plus new track ties and rail on tracks leading into Union Station Railway Corridor, plus updating the signaling system and adding new to the new lead tracks being built. For Go Transit up grade of the east side of Union Station.

Move to the new subway extension from North York to Vaughan TYSSE

Over saw the sub contractor hired for the new construction and installation of double concrete ties, rail, new track switches and all associated components as per the design spec's.

• March 18,1978 to May 30,2008 work with TTC on various maintenance projects.
• Temporary Track Superintendent from 1999 to 2001 in charge of Sheppard line track installation from Young and Sheppard to Don Mills and Sheppard. Installing concrete double ties and rail as per the specs for rail (tangent and curve track) and number 8 & 9 double x overs.
• Trained over new employees on equipment, closely monitoring use for safety and adherence to company protocols.
• Delegated tasks to workers at times 200 unionize employee's on various shifts daily, taking into account personal skill levels, daily targets and necessary condition adaptations.
• Adapted daily plans according to weather, staffing levels and client needs to maintain excellent client satisfaction and adhere to timelines.
• Maintained tools and equipment to foster safe and consistent operation.
• Supervised team member performance to meet client deadlines and requirements.
• Supervised track teams, prioritizing tasks for track maintenance ,rehallabition, for existing subway and new subway,street car and LRT Transit feedback for quality control.
