As a Head pen rider you have to a schedules through effective communication with fellow team members about staffing changes or other pertinent information that may impact daily duties with my boss. You have to improve overall herd performance through efficient sorting, moving, and processing of animals.Collaborated with other team members in managing daily operations at the ranch effectively and efficiently. This position has a lot of responsibility for a young girl makes you become hard working, work long hours and have a lot of different jobs.

Maintain horses from 2 year old and older, cleaning stalls, saddling, starting and riding many different horses a day. Riding up to 15 colts a day. You would start them with ground work in the round pen then work your way up to riding them and getting them broke, a lot of hard work and sweating at this job. Huge responsibility for taking care of horses, clients and riding lessons. A lot of paper work to keep up also.

Supported veterinarian in performing surgeries by preparing instruments, monitoring anesthesia, and providing post-operative care for patients. Improved patient care by assisting veterinarians with examinations and treatments.Assisted in emergency situations calmly while supporting veterinarians with critical care procedures to stabilize patients quickly. Collected patient biopsies and blood samples for laboratory analysis. You and to be on the ball with this job no messing up.
