• Toileting while promoting student independence while ensuring safe techniques
• Assisting students with eating and drinking while encouraging students to assist in the meal time
• Supported students at mealtime to prevent choking
• Assisted students with ambulation, transferring and positioning using mechanical lifts such as a Hoyer
• Assisted with and provided personal care to students including total toileting and perineal care
• Encouraged and assisted with range of motion exercises
• Accompanied students while completing community placements
• Supported students actively while engaging in the Learning Life Skills program including; cooking, shopping, budgeting
• Assisted classroom teachers with behaviour modification techniques following NVCI standards
• Followed and supported individual student IEPs, safety plans emergency medical protocols
