Rookie of the year award based on Freight inspection productivity.
Multiple awards based on milestones for earning a million dollars of revenue based on inspections.
Entrusted as a Freight Inspector; a rare position where few are chosen per terminal across the country. Job requires inspectors be trusted to work isolated away from management.
Entrusted as an off Site Loader; a rare position where an employee is recruited from shipping/receiving- tasked to reduce costly claim's against the terminal when accepting damaged expensive electronic goods. An OSL acts as a barrier between customer and shipper by working as a fedex staff member under the customer- rejecting damaged, frayed or cosmetically ill looking shipments.
An inspectors job is basically to serve the customer. We adjust pricing based on materials that come across the doc. We can save customers money who may not be knowledgeable on how to price their shipped items. We also increase the cost of shipping for items as well resulting in higher revenue for my company. One Million dollars is considered a milestone achievement in which an inspector is rewarded with a plaque at an annual ceremony. I've earned four plaques with my first being Rookie Inspector of the Year.
