Responsibilities


-Analyze data and make recommendations to purchase assets, when and where requests for rental equipment and/or new equipment cannot be filled from available fleet. Create and submit Purchase Orders for fixed assets for the rental fleet, new sales and leases (CAR process).

-Proactively monitors equipment performance levels (utilization) within its own regional territories.

-Coordinate movement of equipment between branches as needed and support the selling of equipment between companies through export/import process.

-Administer, prepare and distribute customs documents for intercompany/cross border transfers.

-Provide exceptional customer service to regional operations. Effectively fulfills time sensitive fleet request within the company (CRM process).

-Works with Ops/Service on fleet unavailable. Maintains good working relationships with national vendors and familiarity with appropriate product offerings and pricing.

-Manage parts stock, perform regular cycle counts, and investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

-Order new parts and materials by creating and submitting requisitions and purchase orders.

-Receive, inspect, and route new parts to the correct storage areas. Maintain a clean and organized parts cage and general storage area.

-Provide exceptional service to our technicians by efficiently picking parts and accurately allocating them against work orders for welder repairs. Effectively communicate with branches regarding parts availability and provide updated shipment tracking details.

-Open, update, and close work orders in the system.

-Process and submit warranty claims for equipment parts.

-Support the repair process by allocating parts to specific work orders and coordinating with the shop team to minimize equipment downtime.

-Coordinate the transfer of parts between different branches to meet operational and customer needs.

-Prepare parts orders for technicians. Process inter branch parts requests across North America and facilitate the picking/packing and shipping via common LTL and ground carriers.

Accomplishments

Some of my key accomplishments during my time at Red-d-Arc. I maintained a zero accident and injury record, and achieved and sustained an inventory loss of under 1%. Additionally, I designed and constructed a new parts room layout that significantly increased both efficiency and safety. The Director of welding and specialty equipment has also requested that I be the exclusive fleet coordinator to work on specialty projects.
