Thirty-three years of experience with the Fredericton Police Force in increasingly more responsible positions. Twenty-seven years of supervisory and managerial experience. Currently the Acting Deputy Chief of Operations. Master’s Degree in International Police Leadership from Charles Sturt University. Extensive experience leading and managing a contemporary community policing team – the Neighbourhood Action Team (NAT). Experience in a broad base of police roles including Primary Response, Major Crime, Professional Standards, as well as Contemporary Community Policing. Strong commitment to the community, serving on numerous volunteer boards and committees at the federal, provincial and local levels. Proven ability to grow the organization through strategic out-of- the-box thinking and leadership. Through leadership, organization, communication and problem solving, worked to develop a strong Neighbourhood Action Team; have been engaged at many levels to ensure the goals of the Team are met. Developed strong working relationships within the Fredericton Police Force Teams as well as external partners such as the Department of Public Safety, RCMP, the local school districts and Saint Mary’s First Nations.
