Experienced in industrial sandblasting, painting, MIG and stick welding, steel fabrication, equipment operation and general trailer repairs with over three years of experience and a background in mechanical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
My previous employment consisted of various jobs ranging from industrial sandblasting, painting, fitting, welding and general trailer repairs on large semi trailers including low beds, tank haulers, logging trailers, grain trailers, bin movers etc.
- Sandblasting: Operation of a 150 psi, 375CFM sandblaster used to prepare new material for finish and remove previous paint finishes and rust from trailers and industrial parts.
- Painting: Fluent in using both airless paint sprayer and HVLP paint guns for various jobs ranging from small parts to complete semi trailers as well as experience with masking and final surface preparation.
- Fitting: Fitting and tacking new structural material based off of blueprints or jig.
- Welding: Experience in MIG and stick welding including down hand and overhead.
- General trailer repairs: Bushing replacement, air bags, axles, brakes, air lines etc.
- Familiar with the use and operation of oxy acetylene torch, plasma, drill press, shear, grinder/zip cut, iron worker, bandsaw, forklift, zoom boom, man lift, bobcat and other day to day equipment.
