I have catered myself at a very young age to the dream of being a Fishery Officer. I am an excellent outdoors person and has skills in snowmobiling, ATV and boating. I have completed all my required hunting and Fac certificates. I am a fly fisherman and has tired flies since the age of eight. I have tied flies that has been sold at Atlantic Recreation St. John's, NL. I am presently completing my Fish and Wildlife Technician at CONA Corner Brook.

My father is a Fishery Guardian and that has been my dream however, I want to be a DFO officer. I love the outdoors and everything it entitles. I am a conservationist but still believe in a persons right to hunt under the law. My passion is fly fishing and I feel that this is a very important industry and I want to be part of protecting it. I have been tying flies since the age of eight and have been selling my flies through AROC St. John's, NL. My parents are outdoors people and has been introducing me their love for nature since the age of three. I can not see myself in any career other than wildlife conservation.

I hope I am accepted in the DFO cadet program as I feel I have been preparing myself for this since a very young age.
