• Oversee all operations for 41 year old youth basketball organization with approximately 20,000 participants annually across multiple programs. Includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities.

Strategic Planning

• Operational Strategy: Oversee operational strategies and when necessary, collaborate with executive team to develop and implement additional strategies that align with NJB’s values, goals and objectives
• Resource Allocation: Oversee optimal allocation and utilization of resources (human, financial and material) to ensure operations are executed within company budget
• Develop and execute strategic plans that have directly contributed to 30% growth year-over-year since I joined the organization

Financial Management

• Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis of each program year-round, analyze results and suggest and implement budgetary changes that optimize the organization's financial health
• Budgeting: Oversee the management of budgets and collaborate with executive team to ensure financial resources are used effectively
• Cost Control: Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or performance
• Revenue Creation: Collaborate with executive team to implement new revenue creation and to consistently grow current revenue sources
• Chapter Director/Admin Compensation: Calculate and facilitate chapter director and admin stipends

Operational Management

• Process Improvement: Oversee current SOP’s and identify areas for operational improvements and implement necessary changes to increase efficiency and productivity
• Ordering: Oversee inventory and ordering of all materials needed for each season, including but not limited to uniforms, awards, basketballs and materials necessary for each game location to operate successfully

Team Leadership

• Staff Management: Supervise and mentor office staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation and professional development
• Collaboration: Work closely with each department to ensure cohesive, enhance team skills and promote coordinated efforts across the organization
• Local Leadership Support: Train and support 30 League Directors to ensure a successful operation in their respective league
• Sanctioned Chapter Support: Support an additional 30 sanctioned (franchised) leagues throughout the year with materials distribution, NJB tournaments/events, All-Stars and any other operational advisement
• Organization Department Productivity: Ensure all departments are properly equipped and supported to succeed in their respective role and monitor productivity to ensure each department is meeting NJB standards

Project Management

• Project Oversight: Manage and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them

Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
• Quality Control: Implement quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of service and/or product delivery

Executive Team Communication

• Executive Collaboration: Work directly with NJB Founder and Commissioner on a daily basis to exercise successful planning and execution of organizational operations
• Reporting: Prepare and present reports on operational performance to executive team
• Feedback Mechanism: Establish channels receiving and addressing feedback from employees, sectional leadership, local league leadership and members

Technology and Innovation

• Tech Integration: Oversee the integration of technology solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency
• Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation to encourage the development of new ideas and solutions

Conflict Resolution

• Discovery: Act on behalf of the governing body (NJB HQ) to orchestrate due diligence procedures necessary to resolve any and all incidents that take place during an NJB sanctioned event

Customer Focus

• Customer Service: Support communications team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by equipping them with sufficient knowledge and constantly improving communication processes
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain key relationships with chapter leaders, vendors and strategic partners including the LA Clippers, LA Angels of Anaheim and Anaheim Ducks
