Throughout my 20 years with HydroOne, I served a role as an Electrician, Millwright, Welder, Iron worker, pipe fitter and various other trades as the work required. Because of this, I have gained hands-on experience and expertise in many different fields of the trades. Heavy Steel Craning and Rigging, Transformer jack-and-slide, Aerial device high steel work, fabrication of just about anything needed, Welded for more than 10 years (Aluminum, Steel, Stainless), pipe fitting for large HV transformers, etc Two and one half years as the Chief Steward in the Southwest Region for the Union I was associated with. Very strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and an active listener. Was a supervisor for 5-7years and led crews of various numbers and took on very easy work to very unforgiving dangerous High Voltage work, sometimes all in the same shift.
