Casual Jail Guard

In January of 2024, I was hired as a Casual Jail Guard by the Camrose Police Service. It is an on-call position which involves:

  • Randomized shift hours, including night shifts occasionally
  • Stressful situations with prisoners, such as those who are under the influence
  • Responsibilities such as giving meals and taking notes on prisoners.

Tire Technician

For Almost a year I worked in the garage part of Kal-Tire in Camrose.

In this position I:

  • Rotated, mounted and balanced tires on cars, trucks, and vans.
  • Replaced and repaired tires using best practices for safe vehicle maintenance.
  • Dismounted, mounted, and repaired tires according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Improved customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate tire services.

Additional Information

During the summer of 2023 I attended the RCMP Depot Youth Camp at K Division headquarters in Edmonton, AB. This camp was a 5 day experience which consisted of police related activities and team building exercises. During this camp I was appointed to the position of "Right Post" and took on a leadership role among my troop.
