Summary

I am a public health expert, mental health scholar, and university teacher. I obtained a PhD degree in Nursing focusing on Leadership in health promotion and advanced practice from Western University, a MSc degree in Addiction sciences conferred by King’s College London in the UK, in addition to BSc degree in Public Health and an advanced diploma in Mental health Nursing from the Congolese Open University and University of Rwanda, respectively. I have a combined experience of over 15 years and a proven track record of success in clinical team readership, university teaching, healthcare professional’s mentorship, and program management in Low resourced settings, such as Rwanda and High-income countries including the UK and Canada. Through such a vast hand-on experience, I have acquired solid expertise in interdisciplinary collaboration, community partnership building, team performance management, program preparedness for accreditation processes and creation and testing innovative solutions to issues facing healthcare systems globally, and in Canada in particular. For examples, . In addition to academic qualifications, vast experience, I am adept at utilizing complex quantitative and qualitative methods and advanced statistical analyses, including structural equation modelling over 30 peer-reviewed articles with academic English and French skills that enable communication with wider audiences.
