- Maintained technical requirements and traceability of avionics software (primarily for the Global Positioning System) for Air Transport category aircraft (considered “safety-of-life”) to achieve airworthiness certification before international aviation authorities (Transport Canada, U.S.A. Federal Aviation Administration).
- Wrote and tested code and maintained extensive documentation under a strict change-controlled environment.
- Designed satellite search algorithms, aircraft landing algorithms, ARINC communication interfaces, built-in test equipment, hardware/software integration test procedures, signal processing algorithms, low-level device drivers, avionics instrument interfaces.
- Developed and executed project schedules to certify Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver, head-up-display, and satellite communication antenna beam-steering software.
