Overall, I feel like I could be a great addition to any team. I very much enjoy my line of work and take pride in it. I have about 15 years of experience, being exposed to many different parts of the trade along the way. I've learned to work well with others and keep a very positive attitude at work. I'm very flexible with hours, and I'm always willing to learn something new.
5 years running 2-4 machines at a time, including setup and programming. Programming done using mainly Powermill, with slight experience in WorkNC. Have also learned the very basics of design. I have machined just about everything, from mold components, custom car and tractor parts to personal projects.
I spent most of my time at concours running 5 axis. I ran and programmed an OKK 350 with a 25 pallet changer and a fanuc controller. Using powermill, this machine would run 24/7, sometimes for days at a time unattended, mainly cutting small components. I also spent many years running a DMG210 with a 5 pallet changer. This machine specialized in large 2D work and roughing, using Lamoine for software. Just about anything except gundrill. My entire time with Concours i programmed and operated myself, including setup most of the time.
Spent most of my years here learning heidenhain and fanuc controllers paired with WorkNC for software
