Chess

My love for chess is something that has spilled over into every aspect of my life. To the initiated, the 64 squares of a chess-board are a microcosm of the universe. The calculation-through-chaos, constant reassessing of positional weakness/advantage, and tactic identification are only small examples of chess doctrine that I find real world application in. What I would like to emphasize is that studying chess has helped me better understand and defend against the world as it has armed me with the ability to rapidly formulate plans factoring in circumstantial limitations.
