I apprenticed under a more experienced farrier while also running my own farrier business.
While I was on my own, I would trim and shoe horses, while maintaining a good relationship with my clients. And also, managing my schedule.
During my apprenticeship, I would arrive at the shop early to build shoes and keep inventory on all the supplies that were needed for the day, before going out and trimming/shoeing horses with my mentor.

General maintenance and care for the cattle, such as fixing fences, cleaning pens, feeding, and doctoring the cattle.

During my time at the Fort, I would perform re-enactments of the NWMP musical ride.
I was responsible for providing proper care to my assigned horse and interacting with tourists between showtimes.
I would also help teach the less-experienced riders all the necessary skills that were needed to perform the musical ride
