Hiking & backpacking in our local mountains with recent trips to Yoho, Garibaldi, Golden Ears, Squamish, Chilliwack, Harrison Hot Springs, Abbotsford, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Mount Robson, Manning Park.
Trip organizer for both day hikes, backpacking, and snowshoeing trips.
Kayaking local lakes & rivers including Alouette River, Alouette Lake, Hayward Lake, English Bay, White Rock, Buntzen, and Harrison River. Some multi-day trips in Golden Ears & Howe Sound. Level 1, and solo re-entry certified.
Previous sports include distance cycling, bike touring, scrambling, swimming (Lifeguarding & teaching), 1/2 marathons.
I was involved for many years in bike advocacy chairing bike advisory committees in both Surrey and Maple Ridge. Certified CanBike Instructor.
