When I wanted to validate the early version of Neya, I didn’t have a marketing budget or brand authority. So instead of advertising, I went directly to the informal transportation networks that already had trust: moto taxi unions and neighborhood transport organizers. I offered them simple revenue-sharing and visibility inside the app, which turned them into promoters and onboarders. They convinced riders to try Neya because they were already trusted community figures. This allowed us to get our first real users fast, offline, without spending money or waiting for institutional approval. The project is currently paused due to lack of financing, but the initial traction proved the model and user demand.
