Accomplishments

    Rebuilt the network at DRHC, replacing all the switches, routers and wifi gear, increasing speed, reliability and security. Installed and managed the Vocera and Hillrom badge and nursecall systems for the Hospital.

    Introduced VM technology using VMware products, as well as a centralized AV solution. Implemented a disk based server backup solution with extra redundancy to protect from a disaster or ransomware attacks. Installed and managed the firewalls and VPNs between locations. Installed Nagios and MRTG to monitor systems availability and performance.


    Installed a full VOIP system across all the locations of the KPDSB, installing 23 PBXs and over 700 phones. Was a member of the network team that managed the WAN for the former Crescive corporation, as well as the servers and local networks at the schools and board offices.
