Objective: Conduct in-depth analysis of Manufacturing Deviation Concession (Quality Notification), addressing nonconformance in part geometry and methods. Propose design solutions or modifications for aero engine cold and hot components through comprehensive review of GD&T, manufacturing methods.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide efficient support to Product Centre Engineering in managing casting and machining deviations, maintaining high-quality standards and timely resolution.
  • Collaborated with the offshore team to resolve daily deliverable issues efficiently. Coordinated with various engineering stakeholders to ensure on-time project deliverables.
  • Conduct comprehensive GD&T analysis and stack-up analysis, ensuring precision in manufacturing processes Executed tasks by engaging with different Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) for drawing revisions and changes.
  • Managed coordination with Casting Supplier for generating layout reports and collaborated with the Engineering team for periodic layout tool validation.

Objective: This project was initiated to facilitate the development of engine casting layouts, aiming to minimize inspection costs. The process involves analyzing manufacturing non-conformities in casting layouts and expanding drawing limits without compromising functionality, structural integrity, and durability.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Coordinating with the casting supplier to ensure timely receipt of inspection reports and providing recommendations for corrections based on the inspection reports and scans.
  • Reviewing & validating scan data and generating LRSD reports, then forwarding them to the Engineering group for further evaluation through Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Assessing material allowance items and extending drawing limits as needed.
  • Creation of FTA models and along with generation of QIF file.

Project #1: 3D-3D Layout deviation analysis (QN) & Reverse Engineering

Objective: Perform a comprehensive analysis of Casting deviation (QN), addressing nonconformance in part geometry and methods. This innovative inspection method, known as 3D-3D or CTCM, is designed to overcome the limitations of traditional inspection methods. The implementation of this approach is anticipated to enhance process capability significantly.

Project #2:Design & drafting engine structural parts:

Objective: Develop 3D CTI models based on 2D balloon drawings, conducting thorough GD&T analysis, and performing stack-up analysis to determine wall thickness.

Furnish design solutions promptly that align with customer, design, and regulatory specifications, skillfully managing the equilibrium of essential product attributes like cost, weight, performance, and delivery. Conduct in-depth root cause analysis to ensure a comprehensive understanding of task requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Demonstrate expertise in Gas turbine components, specializing in Fans, Compressor, Turbine, Gearbox housing, and accessories of turbofan, turboprop, and turboshaft engines.
  • Provide support for Nonconformance Design, conducting assessments for Design Change requests across all potential applications, evaluating their impact on fit, form, and function.
  • Prepare comprehensive design assessment reports, sketches, presentations, and justification sheets for the clearance of nonconformance issues.
  • Serve as a Stack Up Analyst, conducting over 2500 calculations, including worst-case and RSS axial and radial stack-up analyses.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Geometrical Dimension and Tolerance (GD&T).
  • Manage nonconformance reports under casting layouts, overseeing Layout Report Summary disposition, standard inspection templates, and inspection plans for engine parts, especially airfoils.
