I am a social worker with a Bachelor of Social Work degree with 17 years of social work experience. Prior to entering the social work field I worked in administrative positions at Bell Canada and at York University in Toronto, ON. I enjoy working with individuals from all age groups. I have experience working with young children, adolescents, and adults. My strength is in my ability to engage with individuals and form strong work relationships with them.
I worked with teenagers at Bishop Smith Catholic High School. I provided individual counseling for the teens. I also ran groups that focused on building self esteem and addressing mental health issues. I had a dual role in that I also worked with families to address child protection issues.
