As the Sr. Human Resources Generalist my responsibilities are to assist the Human Resources Director in all activities related to the HR Department. Including; compiling, maintaining and processing information related to recruitment, orientation, benefits, safety, labour relations, performance evaluations and classifications. Job duties include:

  • Full cycle recruitment for the Agency's employees and subcontractors.
  • Development and implementation of onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
  • Facilitating and tracking all medical and non-medical leaves. Including short and long term disability claims, WCB, and all types of leave of absences.
  • Overseeing WCB management, including submitting paperwork, tracking, and coordinating with employees, supervisors and WCB to manage claims and implement return to work plans.
  • Assisting employees with completing early intervention paperwork with our third company party during STD leaves.
  • Leading the HR department in accreditation processes
  • Active core member of the Emergency Response Team which made operations decisions during the pandemic
