  • Conducted experiments using XRD, SEM,TEM and XPS to analyze crystal structures and material compositions.

Lab Work in Dealing of Inorgaic Materials

Uoft
Toronto, Ontario
09.2024 - 12.2024
  • Determination of Unknown Acid Using Titration Techniques:
Analyzed an unknown triprotic acid (H₃A) by conducting a series of acid-base titrations. Interpreted pH curves and equivalence points to determine molar mass and dissociation constants.
  • Synthesis and Characterization of Copper Sulfate:
Synthesized CuSO₄ crystals from raw materials and used techniques like filtration and recrystallization. Characterized the product’s purity and hydration state using gravimetric analysis and XRD.
  • Thermal Decomposition of Inorganic Compounds:
Investigated the decomposition behavior of a metal carbonate using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Derived activation energy and thermal stability parameters through experimental data and Arrhenius plots.

MSE Research at SJTU MSE Lab

Shanghai Jiao Tong University
Shanghai, China
05.2023 - 09.2023
  • Worked as a student researcher in Institute of Forming Technology & Equipment (IFTE)
  • Collaborated on optimizing the forming parameters for aluminum and titanium alloys to enhance mechanical performance while minimizing production defects.
  • Conducted experimental trials using state-of-the-art forming equipment to evaluate material deformation behavior under incremental loading conditions.
